A journalist who tells the truth

I am Anton Gura. A citizen of Ukraine. A blogger, an activist, a person who cares. I don't sit quietly when the country is being strangled. I speak out. Loudly, in your face. Because to remain silent is to agree. And I don't agree.

I'm known by my videos - edgy, uncut, uncensored. I tell it like it is. I criticize the government - because it steals. I expose the oligarchs - because they get fat on the blood of the people. I kick the corrupt media because they have long since become the system's support staff.

I'm not a politician, I'm a human being. I'm just like you. And I want this country to be fair. That the people aren't bullshit. I want the truth to come not from the mouths of talking heads, but from ordinary people who are tired of being tolerated.

I'm not playing a role. I live it. I stand at rallies. I speak in the streets. I look into the eyes of those who are used to hiding behind security and briefings. I speak out and I get threats. That means they're afraid. That means I'm hitting the mark.
